Percy came from a litter of two black dogs, two black bitches, two brown dogs and two brown bitches. In 1997, he suffered a herniated disk in his neck due to an accident, and had surgery that April. He is still recovering from the spinal surgery as he was completely paralyzed in all four limbs. Percy had to relearn how to walk and move, but after months of physical therapy, his owner is planning to track him this winter and earn his TD. Percy has been fed Iams dog food all of his life. His owner says he enjoys being a therapy dog and playing in sprinklers.
