Laser was a littermate to Annah and Alexander vom Haus Jagen and achieved only a SchH I due to his owner's being a novice in the sport, as well as the unavailability of quality helpers. He died suddenly one beautiful Sunday afternoon, minutes after working in the protection phase, which he loved so dearly. The veterinarians concluded that he had a massive stroke. His heart was autopsied to show no signs of heart disease or cardiomyopathy; it was, in fact, in perfect condition. He is sadly missed by his friends Britt and Alex, but he lives on in his daughters Danika's Aanisah, BH, SchH I, Danika's Anais and Danika's Anastasia.
